Jubilee English High School conducted an extempore competition, under the auspices of Federation of Senior Citizen Forums of Karnataka (Regd.) on 8th Feb 2018 in the school auditorium. This programme was planned as an attempt to reduce the gap between present generation and senior citizens and also to make them understand the unbreakable relationship between them. The topics included were 'Generation Gap', 'My Elders and my ideals', 'Growth of Human qualities in youngsters'. The programme was highly appreciated by the representatives of FSCFK.

The student council election held on 7th Feb. 2018. Students from all the 3 classes ie 8th std, 9th std and 10th std, participated in the election with great enthusiasm. The candidates election propaganda was during the assembly ,All the candidates,under the supervision of teachers, presented their election manifestos. The students then voted and elected their favourite candidates for the post of Headboy, Headgirl, Gamescaptaiin ndd Games vice captain. Later after lunch votes were counted and results were announced.

Well functioning Activity Clubs are the pride of Jubilee School. Students are provided opportunities to organize, participate and compete with total involvement under the Sports, Literature, Health, Computer, Consumer, Eco and Social Service clubs. These help them to imbibe qualities of leadership, co-operation, unity, etc. They also help the students to enhance their soft skills ability to empathize with others, develop civic sense, and take part in community activities.

The students are grouped into four Houses:

This arrangement helps to develop the team spirit and healthy competition among students. All the sports, literary, cultural competitions are held on the basis of these Houses and the House which gets the highest number of points is given the Champion’s trophy. Out of this activities, individual champion, School Blue and over all champion – the house with maximum points are chosen.

Activities like theatre workshop arranging model assembly, visit to planetarium and VITM, talks by eminent scientists and resource persons are arranged by the respective clubs frequently. Our school is a registered member of Vishveshwaraiah Musuem – VITM activity club membership number KA-06-03 category IN. It helps to participate in all activities organized by them.


And there is `RAINBOW’, bi-monthly magazine published by the Activity Club. In 1996 – 97, the school published `DAWN’ – the school magazine to commemorate the 15th Anniversary. In the Silver Jubilee year, Rainbow published its silver jubilee issue.

Jubilee Quest and Harmony

Conducting mega – exhibition, celebrating annual sports meet and organizing HARMONY – its annual day are the school's forte. Every Year in June, Jubilee Quest – an exhibition is organised and it’s a great success.


It is an active member of NIE programme by subscribing Deccan Herald. NIE classes help to equip our students to face the competitions and tough future.

Scouts & Guides

Jubilee School has strong Netaji Scout Troop which has sent out 14 batches of Rajyapuraskar and 13 batches of Rastrapathi awardees and an equally spirited Rani Jhansi company of Guides. They organise and take part in school, national level camps and Jambouries.

Malayalam Class

Malayalam language classes are held for Malayalee students at Jubilee School thrice a week after school hours free of cost. Now students do read and write the language confidently.

Old Students Association

Though the students have outgrown the high school they find it a pleasure to return to the folds of their Alma-mater. Jubilee School has vibrant Alumni association. Jubilee Alumni Association organizes reunion of the members – MILAP – every year in the month of January. The day is celebrated with fun and fan-fare every year.
